Welcome to KAW Fishing! This website is created for me to share my learning experience of fishing & boating here in the pacific northwest. As a someone who enjoys the outdoors harvesting activities, I wanted to create a resource center for folks who are just getting into the various harvesting activities here in the Pacific Northwest. Another resources for beginner fisherman, outdoor enthusiast, first time boaters, and kayak fisherman to have in their arsenal to be successful at this great activity.

When I first started out, it wasn’t easy finding information for beginners on these activities so I hope this will be a great place to share my learning and experiences with everyone who like to try out any of the harvesting opportunities we have here in the Puget Sound and greater Seattle area. I hope you find the content useful and fun, and feel free to share your experience to help folks out there have a better experience when starting out. Thank you for your support!

I was a beginner in all of these activities when I first started out, and I’ve found that resources and information on these topics to be sparse and not easily available. I hope to share my experience and lesson learned with folks out there to enhance their enjoyment of the harvest available to us here in the PNW, also to provide a positive first experience into the outdoors. Here in Washington, the rules and regulations are a bit convoluted and difficult to understand if you are not familiar, so I hope to share that knowledge here as well to provide a base foundation so everyone can safely participate in the activities.

The primary content you will find here is guidance tutorial and fishing blogs. It will help to provide beginners with the knowledge to get started and get out there to enjoy what the PNW has to offer.
